Cleveland now holds a 5-2 record, matching Pittsburgh and placing Cincinnati within one game at 4-2. This parity defines the current state of the AFC North, a division that has emerged as the strongest in the league this season. Both Cleveland and Pittsburgh rely on physical play styles that prioritize toughness over flair. Their matchup this Sunday features the lowest point total on the schedule, set at 39.5.

The division's strength did not appear overnight. Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow has driven his team’s recent success. He ranks sixth in the league for expected points added per drop-back. Despite having used his bye week, Burrow sits one touchdown pass behind the NFL leader. The Bengals have won their last two games and face the Titans and Falcons at home before meeting Pittsburgh again.

Trade activity has intensified alongside the on-field performance. The Indianapolis Colts released interior lineman Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner. Tennessee traded edge rusher Jeffery Simmons. These moves suggest a trend toward aggressive roster changes during the season. The Colts also have running back Jonathan Taylor and wide receiver Josh Downs on the market. General managers are expected to make further calls in this deadline period.

Other quarterbacks are showing strong statistical production. Green Bay’s Jordan Love has thrown seven touchdowns and two interceptions in his last three games. Atlanta’s Michael Penix Jr. has thrown for six touchdowns without an interception in his last two outings. Penix maintains a 109 quarterback rating through his first five starts. Chicago and Seattle will play Monday night, marking the third consecutive week both teams have secured prime-time slots.

Baltimore plays Buffalo on Sunday in the week's featured game. Lamar Jackson’s return to the lineup keeps the Ravens in contention for the AFC title. The Bills, fresh from a bye, are favored by three points. Buffalo’s last three games finished with high scores: a 29-26 loss to New England, a 37-34 win against the Rams, and a 33-30 victory over Las Vegas. The prediction favors the Bills 31-30.

The Los Angeles Chargers host the Rams at SoFi Stadium. The Chargers have not yet won a game this season, while the Rams remain among the league's top teams. The Rams are favored by 10 points and are expected to win 27-10. In the division upset candidate, the Minnesota Vikings, the only remaining unbeaten team, visit Detroit. The Lions are favored by three points, but the Vikings defense has performed well under Brian Flores. The prediction favors the Vikings 24-21.
