The Colorado High School Activities Association released the full bracket and schedule for the 2026 Class 5A boys state soccer tournament on Oct. 26. The release outlines 31 total games across four quadrants, running from the first round on Oct. 28 to the championship match on Nov. 14.
First-round play begins Tuesday, Oct. 28, with all 16 games scheduled for that date unless noted otherwise. The tournament is divided into four quadrants, each containing four first-round matchups. These games will determine the field of eight teams advancing to the second round.
Key early matchups include No. 1 Legend hosting No. 32 Overland at EchoPark Stadium at 6:30 p.m. in Quadrant 1. In Quadrant 2, No. 4 Castle View plays No. 29 Lakewood at Advent Health Stadium at 7 p.m. The schedule lists specific venues for several high-profile games, including French Field in Grand Junction and North Stadium in Denver.
The second round is set for Nov. 3, with the higher-seeded team hosting in each pairing. Quarterfinals follow on Nov. 7, also hosted by the higher seed. The bracket structure ensures that the winner of each quadrant advances to the semifinals on Nov. 11. These two games will determine the final two teams competing for the state title.
The championship game is scheduled for Nov. 14 at Weidner Field. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. The association has not yet assigned specific times and locations for all second-round and later games, noting that details will be added as they are set. Aurora teams are highlighted in the release, with Grandview, Rangeview, and Regis Jesuit all entering the tournament as lower seeds.
The seedings reflect regular season records. No. 1 Legend enters with an 11-1-3 record, while No. 32 Overland has a 5-4-6 mark. Other top seeds include No. 2 Valor Christian and No. 4 Castle View, both with 11-2-2 records. The tournament format requires teams to win three consecutive games to claim the state championship.
